How Datastreamcraft prices audit trail monitoring, reconstructions, and pre-audit sprints — retainers, fixed fees, and the factors that change an estimate.
Pricing follows the shape of the work. Continuous monitoring uses a monthly retainer. Reconstructions and pre-audit sprints are usually fixed once scope is clear. Exact figures arrive after we see your entity count, journal volume, and system landscape — the figures below are starting points for planning.

What moves an estimate
- Number of legal entities and ledgers in scope
- Length of the historical period to reconstruct
- Quality and completeness of existing change logs
- Need for bilingual working papers (English / Traditional Chinese)
- Urgency relative to statutory filing or board dates
- On-site sessions outside Hong Kong Island (travel time billed at half day rate)
What we do not charge for
Introductory scoping calls under thirty minutes, and a written estimate after intake, are complimentary. We do not add surprise platform or licence fees — monitoring is a professional service, not a subscription product checkout.
Deposits and billing
Fixed-fee projects require a 40% deposit to reserve the calendar slot; the balance is due on delivery of the findings pack. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. See our refund terms for cancellations and work already underway.
